    Source for adapter 288 to 2" horn?

    Can anyone recommend a source for a pr of 1.4 to 2" adapters?

    Google led me to a Parts Express page for a Selenium part but it appears to be obsolete.

    Any advice appreciated!

    Thanks for tip. H'mm...not cheap is right.

    I like the fact that they are smooth machined instead of roughly cast like so many ALTEC parts but the price is more than I prefer to shell out for this particular experiment

    I think I found a place to get adapters at a fraction of that price. Ordered a pair. I'll report back on the details when I get them.

    Let us know -- I was in a similar situation a year or so ago, when an AA member offered to sell me a pair of the Selenium adapters at a nice price. Another guy said he could make a set out of wood for a reasonable price. You might find the thread with a site search of the High Efficiency forum.

    Worth checking with GPA- I know Bill makes some of the adapters again.

    Closest I know of otherwise is Paudio, but it's 1.5".

    Martin Sound in Cleveburg has it.

    Did the martin's work? Looking at the diagram, does not seem they are pre-drilled for 3 bolt setup.

    but if they worked... I may go buy a pair...

    cheers!

    * I see GPA is making the 21216 / 21216A , praise to them! Anyone know if they are making/planning a 33710?

    So this would be running the adapter "backwards", right? Normally it's meant to put a 1.4" driver on a 2" throat horn, isn't it?
